Officers met residents at the Hazelwood Centre in Sunbury to discuss efforts to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls.

They also encouraged Parkrun participants to share concerns about safety while exercising and other local issues.

Police say the event helped gather community feedback and improve understanding of local concerns in the borough.

Officers will return to the Hazelwood Centre for a “Policing Your Community” event with senior Surrey Police figures.
