Hammersmith and Fulham Council has been awarded the highest rating for supporting children with special needs and disabilities.

Care Quality inspectors have praised the “positive experiences and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.”

The council’s opened three Family Hubs specifically for children with special educational needs in recent months.

Hammersmith and Fulham was also named the best council in England last year for its online support for young people with SEND.
