Hope for Epsom took place at the Methodist Church at lunchtime.
It was organised after a woman in her 20s reported being raped by several men outside the building on Saturday.
The alleged attack led to protests in the town last night by people claiming the police have not been open enough about the investigation.
Surrey Police says it is carrying out extensive enquiries but does not have sufficient information to release suspect descriptions in this case.
Today’s service at the church was attended by Epsom’s MP, Helen Maguire, who is herself, a former police officer.
