The father of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to death at a party says parents need to be talking to their children about knives.

Charlie Cosser from Milford near Guildford was at a party in West Sussex in July 2023 when he was attacked and died two days later.

He was a promising young footballer who had been a member of Brentford Academy.

Charlie’s Dad Martin has told Jackie News it’s never too early to educate children on the dangers of carrying a knife.

Yura Varybrus, who was 16 at the time, is serving a life sentence for Charlie’s murder.
