Officers were called to Lucan Place at lunchtime last Tuesday following concerns for the welfare of a woman inside.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been named as 57-year-old Julia Taylor and her family is aware and continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Two 54 year old and a 56 year old men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Emma Sharp, who is leading the investigation said:

“We continue to work at pace to build a picture around this Julia’s death, while supporting her family.

“Our enquiries have led to the arrest of two men on suspicion of murder who have since been released on bail, as we continue our investigation.

“I encourage anyone who may have any information which could support the investigation to contact us.”
