This year marks the 30th anniversary of Kew Gardens’ Orchid Festival, which this year is inspired by China’s landscapes and rich traditions

China is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, with more than 30,000 native plants.

The festival includes pieces such as a snake-inspired archway, a dragon made from lotus seed heads and koi sculptures made with ginkgo leaves.

The festival is running until the 8th March.
