A date for the funeral of a much-loved member of the New Malden community has been announced.

61-year-old Neville Wheatley passed away in December.

It was only last May that he had finally been re-homed in a flat by Kingston Council after many years of homelessness.

His funeral will take place at Kingston Crematorium at 9.40am on the 3rd of March with donations going to Helping Homeless Veterans UK.
