Croydon Council is recommending spending £6.2 million of government funding on expanding its family hubs.

The sites bring together a number of services to help support young families and people up to the age of 25.

Nearly 300 residents responded to a consultation on the expansion of children’s centres into family hubs last year.

More than 80% supported the proposals.
