Officers were called to Chertsey Bridge Road at 7.55pm last Saturday after a collision between a car which failed to stop and a motorbike.
A teenage motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life changing injuries, the driver a man from Fetcham was arrested for drink driving.
Its hoped that the driver of a dark coloured Renault Clio and a Royal Mail worker may have witnessed the collision will come forward.
