Momentum Children’s Charity supports families across Surrey, Sussex, and London whose children are facing cancer or other life-challenging conditions.
For many of these families, visiting Santa’s grotto simply isn’t possible, whether it is children who are immunocompromised during treatment and can’t risk crowded public places, or families facing their first Christmas after the death of their child.
But that doesn’t stop Santa from finding a way to meet them. Every December, he makes it his mission to bring the magic of Christmas directly to their doorsteps.
This is not always your typical sleigh ride, Santa often arrives in style, sometimes even on a Harley Davidson motorbike and delivers gifts for the whole family to enjoy together, as well as special presents for each child.
This year’s Doorstep Santa is taking place this weekend.
Jackie’s Rebekah Scamp has been talking to the charity, and one of the mum’s who will be benefitting from the Santa-to-home service.
