A fire at a house in New Malden in the early hours is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at an end of terraced house on Warwick Road just after 3am.

Part of the ground floor was damaged by the fire.

There were no reports of any injuries.
