Emergency services were called to New Zealand Avenue just before 6:30pm after reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a teenage girl, was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are urging any witnesses of the incident to come forward.
No arrests have been made.
