Lambeth Council is committing almost £5million in funding to support its vulnerable residents.

The cash will be used for a range of services including free school meals out of term time for eligible children.

It will also be handed out in the form of emergency grants to residents facing debt crises.

The council says it is also prioritising automatically enrolling people for support they are entitled to.
