The station is one of 17 across the capital being assessed for future accessibility upgrades.
London Assembly Member Leonie Cooper handed a 3,000-signature petition to the Mayor last year.
She says the petition showed “the huge appetite and support for step-free access from residents across Putney.”
The study supports the Mayor’s goal of making half of Tube stations step-free by 2030, but any upgrades will depend on funding.
