Marc Bolan’s been honoured with a blue plaque outside the home in Maida Vale where he wrote and recorded some of his biggest hits.

The musician, who fronted the band T. Rex, died in a car crash in Barnes in 1977 at the age of 29.

The plaque’s been unveiled at the property where he lived with his wife in the 1970s.
