The awards known as The Curry Oscars return to London on the 6th of October.

They celebrate the UK’s top curry houses with finalists from all regions included.

In Surrey, Bay Leaves in Epsom, Rice and Spice in Ewell and Jalsha in Ashford are all up for Best Regional Restaurant of the Year.

Colombo Kitchen in Putney has made it into the London region nominations.

The curry industry contributes £4.5 billion to the UK economy annually.
