Around 25 firefighters were called to the establishment on London Road just before 5 o’clock yesterday evening.
Part of the ground floor, first-floor roof, and external ducting up to the third floor was damaged.
No one was injured, and the accidental fire, caused by unattended cooking, prompted firefighters to warn about the dangers of hot oil.
