This is the second time England has hosted this tournament but already records have been broken.
During the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Tournament Opening Conference held earlier today at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, organisers confirmed 375,000 tickets have been sold across all venues which is three times the number sold for the last world cup in New Zealand 2021, and spectators will see an increase in women being represented across all aspects of the game including more female coaches, referees, and groundskeepers.
The final has been confirmed as a sell-out game at the Home of England Rugby, representing a big step forward as only 15 years ago the trophy-lifting match was held in front of just 13,000 supporters at the Twickenham Stoop.
Women’s Rugby World Cup runs from the 22nd of August to the 27th of September.
