The Royal Mail’s revealed a dozen new stamps are being issued to celebrate the Royal Armouries.

Eight will show examples of armour made between 1520 and 1686 and owned by monarchs Charles I and Hampton Court’s Henry VIII.

Four other stamps show other treasures, including a rare sword and a Japanese helmet.
