Merton Council is taking street cleaning in-house from April after residents complained about the current service.

Every residential street in the borough will be cleaned at least once a week, with town centres addressed more frequently.

A dedicated graffiti removal service and rapid response team will be introduced to address fly tip reports more swiftly.

Bin collections will continue to be contracted out and delivered by Veolia.
