Capital FM DJ Jordan North was rescued by the RNLI this week, after trying to save a dog at Hammersmith Bridge.

Jordan had been on a run when he spotted a labrador in the water on Monday.

A member of the public alerted authorities and the lifeboat crew from Chiswick RNLI found him sitting on a nearby float lift with the dog.

Members of the public held up phone torches to help the RNLI locate him.

He thanked the RNLI on his breakfast show.
