The incident happened in the early hours of November the 29th on the Thames near Hampton Court Palace.
The boat had been tied to a post which failed due to the very high river conditions and had become lodged on an underwater pontoon.
While RNLI volunteers didn’t need to two the boat away, they managed to secure it.
