Mole Valley District Council has exchanged contracts with the parent company of Downsend School with completion expected this month.
The new sixth form centre called ‘Elite House’ will be located at Focal Point in Guildford Road.
The original Downsend Boys School was founded in 1898 and in 2020, became a through-school, offering a three-year GCSE.
