“Forgotten Neighbours” is the focus of this year’s Wimbledon Guild Christmas appeal.

The charity, based in Worple Road, gives practical help and support to Merton’s residents who are struggling and socially isolated.

The charity says it is reaching out especially to those who are without the support of family and friends this festive season.

Donations fund financial assistance, mental health support and companionship initiatives but all year-round.
