So many people have responded to a consultation about the future of Hersham Golf Club that the decision cannot be considered this year.

Elmbridge Borough Council says the responses require detailed analysis and won’t go before the December Planning Committee.

The development proposal includes change of use of the existing golf course to provide green infrastructure and landscaping.

Homes, a medical surgery and café are also planned or the site in Assher Road in Walton.
