Organisers of Christmas events across our region are changing their plans because of concerns about the weather.

Painshill Gardens in Cobham will be closed on Saturday and Sunday due to the high winds forecast.

And the annual turning on of the Christmas lights in the High Street has been scaled back with fears the stage could become a danger.

A yellow warning for wind has been issued for Saturday across south-east England.
