Officers were called to the carriageway between J8 and J9 shortly after 2pm.
Officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, to deal with a medical emergency at the location.
National Highways closed the M25 for a short time to allow them to operate safely.
No further details have been given.
The road has since reopened.
