Hounslow Council has announced plans to expand emission-based parking charges.
Under the proposals, Council-owned car parks and on-street parking spaces will be linked to a vehicle’s CO2 emissions.
The scheme will encourage people to make environmentally conscious travel choices and reduce carbon emissions.
A consultation showed more than half of respondents said they worried about the impact of air pollution on their family’s health.
