MP Ruth Cadbury said residents had contacted her about the “dismissive and sometimes bullying way” they have been treated.
Radio Jackie also took those concerns to the council.
Councillor Grewal, Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Recycling and Transformation at Hounslow Council, said:
“Improving resident experience is a top priority for the Council. Last year, we launched a programme that will ensure residents can now access key services in a time and place that is convenient to them. Our aim is to make services accessible, intuitive, and easy to use when residents want convenience, while also ensuring face-to-face support wherever that is needed.
“This programme has already started to reap positive benefits for our residents and communities: a recent resident survey found three-quarter of residents think the Council is doing a good job.
“That said, the Council takes a zero-tolerance approach to bullying and will continue on its journey to improve residents’ experiences and interactions with the Council.”
