A ballet school in Battersea for people of black heritage is preparing to celebrate the Windrush generation.

Dancers at Pointe Black have developed a showcase for Wandsworth Council’s Black History 365 programme.

They will perform an immersive stage show delving into the Windrush story on October the 26th at Southfields Academy.

Ruth Essel, founder of Pointe Black, explains why she was moved to launch the ballet school.
