Contactless payment will be available at a further 12 South Western Railway suburban stations from the 22nd of September.

Kempton Park, Shepperton, Staines, Sunbury and Windsor and Eton Riverside were amongst those stations named.

They’re apart of 47 new National Rail stations in the South East where pay as you go will be accepted.

SWR says ‘Touching in and out at applicable stations will mean less time spent queueing to buy a ticket and will speed up journeys’
