British jet engine maker Rolls Royce says it’ll let airlines know if a possible problem with a fuel nozzle poses a wider risk.
A Cathay Pacific Airbus was forced to return to Hong Kong soon after taking off from Zurich on Monday.
The airline says 24 flights have been cancelled while checks are carried out.
Heathrow based British Airways and Virgin Atlantic could also be affected.
