Anne Macleod-Carrey is a resident at The Royal Alfred Seafarers Society Belvedere House.
She served in the Women’s Royal Naval Service as a visual signaller during World War II.
Her time in the Wrens was marked by several interesting experiences, most notably being the only woman invited onto the Yacht “Grille”.
