The council says they will primarily follow side streets and parks to avoid busy roads.
It’s hoped they will encourage more people to get on their bike, especially those who are less confident riding in busier urban areas.
Work to introduce the proposed routes could involve changes such as installing road signage and traffic calming measures at junctions.
