The brigade was called to the property on Davidson Road just after 2:30am on Sunday morning.

The ground floor and stairs were destroyed and most of the first floor of the house was also damaged by the blaze.

Around 14 residents from neighbouring properties were evacuated.

No injuries are reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
