Croydon council says it has taken action to minimise roadwork disruption following residents complaints.

Works to replace drainage infrastructure to help reduce flooding on Coulsdon Road will now start on the 15^th of August.

The authority says the original start date of today didn’t prove popular.

A traffic management scheme is in place to ease traffic impact and some side roads will close to prevent drivers ‘rat-running’.
