Todd Boehly’s BlueCo has taken significant control of Chelsea Women’s team according to a filing at Companies House this week.

The company was used by Boehly’s Clearlake consortium to buy Chelsea in 2022.

Chelsea had announced in May that they were considering selling a stake of the women’s team, valued at £150 million.

In a statement, the club said the women’s team ‘will be repositioned so that it sits alongside, rather than beneath the men’s team’.
