A consultation has launched on plans to build more than 400 homes on a former gas works in Epsom.

The land, in East Street, used to be the site of the Epsom and Ewell Gas Company which was launched in 1847.

If the plans by Zenith Land go ahead, the historic Laine Theatre Arts dance and drama school would be relocated.

The public consultation closes on July the 30^th.
