The group says it will work together to clean up hotspot areas and deal with antisocial behaviour.
It includes council members, business owners, police and homeless and rough sleepers’ outreach support teams.
The work is funded by the former Conservative government’s Safer Streets Fund to tackle crime in the town centre.
