Alfie Boe’s launched a rose at the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival for his late father to help raise funds for a cancer charity.

The singer, who’s a patron of Brain Tumour Research, was 23 years old when he lost his dad, Alfred, in 1997.

He says it was a “fun yet emotional” moment launching the flower.
