25 firefighters were called to Culvers Way just after 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
Rooms on the first floor, in an end of terraced house, were damaged by the blaze.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to be accidentally caused by fabric placed near a light which overheated.
