Changes will include a fully flexible layout with space for events and performances, improved furniture and a study area.
There will also be new “Super Access technology” enabling out of hours use.
Residents are being invited to drop in to give their views at the library on Tuesday between 10am and 4pm.
Work will start on August the 5th with a full closure for one week.
