Surrey Fire & Rescue services were called to a boat fire on the Thames in Staines just after 6pm last night.
Firefighters responded to the blaze near Staines Bridge Mooring at 6:17pm.
Five fire engines and one boat from Surrey stations, as well as two boats from London Fire and Rescue attended the scene.
Residents were advised to avoid the area, which has since reopened.
