The authority says it is using the event to celebrate the people who make a real difference across its neighbourhoods.
The month long event falls at the same time as Pride month, National Volunteering Week, Carers Week and Refugee Week.
The council says it is ‘committed to working with people and organisations across the borough to make a positive difference’.
