Police were called to Rawnsley Avenue on Tuesday lunchtime by contractors carrying out cleaning work in the River Wandle.
Police say they have informed the family of 38 year old Sarah Mayhew about the latest finding.
A murder investigation was launched on April the 2nd after the partial remains of Sarah were discovered in parkland in New Addington.
Two people have been charged with her murder.
