Sir Ed Davey has thanked Sutton’s council leader for her “transformative years” in charge of the authority.

Lib Dem, Ruth Dombey, announced she’d be leaving the role she’s held for 12 years on Monday.

She’ll stand down in May.

Lib Dem leader, Sir Ed said on X, her work on the London Cancer Hub and town centre plans has truly shaped Sutton for the better.
