Richmond Council is contributing £150,000 towards the project and is getting site surveys completed.
But the authority says fundraising to bring the pavilion back to life is now a priority with supporters being urged to find donors.
The information meeting will take place at the Turk’s Head pub from 7pm on the 28th of March.
