Royal Parks is reminding walkers to keep dogs on leads in certain areas of Richmond and Bushy Parks to protect Skylarks.

The areas have designated protection zones where pets must be restrained and visitors are asked to keep to certain paths.

This is to prevent anything disturbing nesting skylarks, to improve breeding success and help protect this ‘red-listed’ threatened species.
