GMB union members working for Hounslow Council’s maintenance company say they have signed an agreement securing future rights.

Lampton staff carry out a number of roles in the borough, including property and grounds maintenance and waste and recycling.

The GMB says the deal will see more than 1,200 members of staff protected by collective bargaining rights in terms of pay.

Workers at Lampton say they welcome the “win” after extensive negotiations.
