A 22 year old man being questioned about a fatal stabbing in Thornton Heath remains in custody this morning after a warrant to detain him was extended for 24 hours.
He was arrested on Christmas Eve by detectives investigating the death of Michael Peixhoto. He hasn’t been charged.
Michael died after being attacked by a group of men in Mayfield Crescent on December 19th.
